Sally Hancock and Sally Horrox are Managing Partners at Y Sport, a leading British consulting firm. Sally Hancock is a former Marketing Director of the Olympic and Paralympic Games at Lloyds Bank and internationally renowned sponsorship strategist. She was voted UK Sponsorship Personality of the Year in 2013, and in 2014, she attended SPORTO for the first time. This year, she is returning to Portorož accompanied by Sally Horrox, who helped her pave the way, over the last years, for professional and commercial development of women’s sport. John Allert is the branding expert at McLaren Group, recently performing the role of the Marketing Director. He has over 25 years’ experience advising leading global brands. Prior to joining McLaren, he was Chief Executive of Interbrands’ UK business. His work at the widely recognised McLaren, most famous for their Formula 1 team, has attracted a lot of industry recognition including a One Show Gold Pencil, British Market Research Award, Cristal Award and a Gold Clio. Joel Seymour-Hyde is Head of UK at Octagon, global creative marketing agency with offices in 22 countries worldwide. Joel works as a consultant with a range of leading brands such as ABInbev, adidas, AIG, Cisco, Delta, Mars, MasterCard, Shell, Sony and Standard Chartered. In 2019, Octagon UK was crowned European Agency of the Year by European Sponsorship Association (ESA) and Agency of the Year at BT Sports Industry Awards.
Marzena Bogdanowicz is Head of Marketing and Commercial for Women’s Football at The Football Association. She is an expert in the areas of sponsorship, marketing, event management and commercial strategies. Prior to the FA, she managed her own consultancy offering services to a number of different organisations including the British Olympic Association (BOA), International Olympic Committee, British Parliament, British Gymnastics and Visit Britain. From 1996-2006, Marzena was the Director of Marketing at the British Olympic Association. During her time at the BOA, she was also the architect of the Team GB brand which became one of the most powerful sports brands in the UK.
Jeff Nathenson is Managing Director International at media and entertainment company Whistle, where he works with some of the biggest leagues and brands in putting together compelling propositions to reach young audiences. Jeff has twenty years of international experience running media properties extending from television networks to digital offerings to social platforms. Before joining Whistle Sports, he has spent eight years at YouTube, where he developed the YouTube global football strategy, transitioning the platform from user-generated uploads to official content offerings.
