We are pleased that the Vice President of the global conglomerate The Coca-Cola Company, and the man in charge for global partnerships in the field of sports and entertainment at one of the world’s most iconic brands, responded to our invitation.

Ricardo Fort, one of the world’s leading experts and opinion leaders in the field of sponsorship, oversees Coca-Cola’s global portfolio of partnerships and events, including the ones with FIFA, UEFA, the IOC, the IPC, the Special Olympics, the McLaren F1 team, movie studios, record labels and the gaming industry.
Prior to joining Coca-Cola, Ricardo was a leader in global partnerships and sponsorship marketing at Visa in San Francisco until 2016.
»The nature of the work that we do at Coca-Cola, because we are so international, is virtual by default. In a normal week in the office, my team and I probably spend 70, 80 per cent of our time in video conferences, conference calls with people abroad,« he said in one of the recent interviews, commenting on the covid-19-related business handicaps.
At the SPORTO digital talk, Ricardo will discuss Coca-Cola’s Olympic and Paralympic partnership (also in the light of the postponed Tokyo 2020 Games), their strategy, role of digital and brand impacts/ROI. We will also hear first-hand more about the current challenges and best practices from company’s work with different rights holders around the world and comment on the post-pandemic sponsorship landscape and evolution of sponsorship from a broader perspective.
