Mission: The Glacier, Volleyball on Ljubljanica river and Planica NFT ski jumpers collection 2022 were the winners of the four categories of the 2022 SPORTO Awards as the best practice in sponsorship and marketing in the Adriatic region.
The presentation of the winners and the awarding of the trophies will take place at the SPORTO Conference, 22nd of February in Planica.
Entries in all SPORTO Awards categories were reviewed and evaluated according to predefined criteria in close cooperation with European Sponsorship Association (ESA), by an international expert Judging Panel chaired by an ESA president Andy Westlake. Other members of the Judging Panel were Matic Švab (Executive Director of Finance and Marketing at the Olympic Committee of Slovenia), Luka Maselj (Head of Marketing at Continental Tires Southeast Europe), Petra Čadež (Marketing Director SBU Savoury spreads at Atlantic Group and Slovenian Marketing Association representative), Kristina Gregorc (Director of Digital & Ecommerce at Mercator), Veroljub Zmijanac (Partner at SportIT – Sports Marketing & Sponsorship) and Andrej Krajner ( Communications Director at NLB Group).
The jury awarded the following projects:

Mission: The Glacier as the highest scored project in Sponsorship category qualified directly to the ESA Excellence »Best of Europe« competition. Jury also awarded special sustainability award to this project.
