Entries in all categories were reviewed and evaluated according to predefined criteria in close cooperation with the European Sponsorship Association (ESA), by an international expert Judging Panel chaired by Andy Westlake. Other members of the SPORTO Awards 2024 jury were Andraž Štalec (Red Orbit), Primož Kastelic (Hisense), Milan Slana (Herman & partners), Simona Kruhar Gaberšček (Marketing magazin), Tijana Popadić (sportIt), Kiti Iveta (Priredba) and Valentina Erčulj Džuban (Atlantic group and Slovenian marketing association representative).
The eight-member expert jury awarded the best examples of good practices in the field of sponsorship and marketing in sports in six categories and highly commended three projects.

The Hisense x UEFA EURO 2024™ project: More than a brand, as the winning project in the sponsorship category, was automatically entered into the competition of the European Sponsorship Association ESA Excellence Awards in the “Best of Europe” category, namely as a representative of Slovenia. The best-rated Serbian project, Jaffa cakes Olympic Team Sponsorship (sponsor: Jaffa Crvenka; rights holder: Olympic Committee of Serbia; entrant: Leo Burnett) was ranked as the representative of Serbia.
